Ella shaped Getsurance’s vision by creating the brand identity and a design system that continues to drive conversions. As the first fully digital cancer insurance in Germany, her work on the B2C checkout flows, website, and marketing materials left a lasting impact. During her time, Ella launched products from scratch, built and maintained the entire design system, and continuously improved the user experience. Starting with typography, colors, and spacing, she applied Atomic Design principles to build a scalable, robust UI system.
Prototyping is central to Ella's design process. For this project, she simulated the claims workflow, gaining stakeholder approval, and successfully launching the module. Its success led to a 33% reduction in cancellations after replicating the process. Ella emphasizes testing at all stages, using prototypes to validate ideas early and A/B tests to refine launched products for continued improvement.
